Helpfulness Can Bring Honest Traffic to Your Site

In the world of search engine optimization, there are a lot of options available to people looking to drive traffic to their website. After researching ways to do this, I found that the best traffic for me came from places where I offered my assistance. Bloggers generally make their pages profitable by using advertising. This may include ads placed by Google Adsense or other online advertisers. While this can yield well for some, I wanted more of an interactive audience. My blog was created to provide information, for example Blackberry smartphones. I wrote reviews for apps that users could purchase, provided tips and tricks for getting the most from their device and even troubleshooting tutorials for those that found themselves in a bit of trouble. However, the blog alone wasn't getting the traffic I wanted. So I decided to begin reaching out. I searched for forums that discussed the topic, twitter users that posted about their issues and other online sites that allowed users to ask questions. I offered my help to them, and referred them back to my blog if they needed more assistance. My traffic began to skyrocket and I saw more and more visitors everyday. I reached out to help others and directed them to my blog for more. Eventually I started a Facebook page for my blog and visitors could be redirected to the blog from there. Of course there is always ensuring that your posts are filled with relevant keywords and such, but reaching out to your intended audience can have a great impact on your website's traffic as well.
